Terms of Service

Maverick AI Coach (“Maverick AI Coach,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a software service operated by Joshua Brown that provides AI-assisted business coaching, ideation, and planning tools. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Maverick AI Coach website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, subscribing, or otherwise accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Description of Service
Maverick AI Coach uses artificial intelligence to help users explore business ideas, generate personalized business recommendations, and produce 30-day action plans, along with an ongoing “Co-founder Mode” conversational coach. The Service is provided for informational and planning purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, tax, investment, or professional advice.
3. Account Creation and Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, and you may not share your account or transfer it to another person without our written consent.
4. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments
Maverick AI Coach offers a Free plan and paid subscription tiers, currently Pro ($79/month) and Elite ($199/month). Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis and automatically renew until cancelled. Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor, Stripe. Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and exclude any applicable taxes, which may be added at checkout or on your invoice. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice; any change will take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
5. Free Trials
Eligible new users may receive a 3-day free trial of the Pro plan. You may be required to provide a valid payment method to start a trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Pro subscription and your payment method will be charged at the then-current rate. Only one free trial is available per user or household.
6. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your account. Cancellation stops future renewals; you will retain access to paid features through the end of the current paid period. Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial refunds for unused time. Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit any statutory cancellation or refund rights you may have under your local consumer protection laws.
7. AI-Generated Content
The Service uses AI models to produce business ideas, plans, estimates, and coaching responses (“AI Output”). AI Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, or unsuitable for your situation, and revenue or timeline figures are presented as potential outcomes and targets, not guarantees. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and independently evaluating AI Output before relying on it or taking action, and for complying with any laws or regulations that apply to your business.
8. User Responsibilities and Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing purpose; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying models or source code of the Service; (c) scrape, resell, or redistribute AI Output as certified professional advice; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure; or (e) upload content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
9. Intellectual Property
Maverick AI Coach and Joshua Brown retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Service, including its software, brand, and content, other than user-generated inputs and AI Output. You retain ownership of the inputs you provide, and you receive a worldwide, royalty-free license to use the AI Output generated for you to build and operate your own business. You grant us a limited license to process your inputs solely to provide, secure, and improve the Service.
10. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party providers, including Stripe for payments, hosted infrastructure and email providers for operational delivery, and AI model providers used to generate responses. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their acts or omissions.
11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Maverick AI Coach and Joshua Brown will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Maverick AI Coach and Joshua Brown from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
13. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends; sections intended to survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will remain in effect.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice by email, through the Service, or by updating the “Last Updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Maverick AI Coach is operated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the competent courts located there, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
