Maverick AI Coach (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is operated by Joshua Brown and provides an AI-assisted business coaching platform. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to your use of maverickaicoach.com and our related services (the “Service”).
2. Information We Collect
We collect: (a) account information such as your name and email address; (b) billing information processed by our payment provider Stripe (we receive customer and subscription identifiers, plan and status, and the last four digits and brand of your card, but never your full card number); (c) questionnaire responses and AI conversations that you submit to generate ideas and plans; (d) usage and device data including pages viewed, features used, IP address, and approximate location; and (e) cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, security, and product analytics.
3. How We Use Information
We use your information to: deliver and personalize the Service, generate AI recommendations and 30-day plans, process payments and manage subscriptions, communicate with you about your account, provide customer support, secure the Service and prevent abuse, analyze and improve product performance, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal Bases for Processing (EEA/UK)
Where applicable, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (to deliver the Service you request), legitimate interests (to secure, operate, and improve the Service), consent (where required, for example for optional marketing communications), and compliance with legal obligations.
5. AI Processing
To generate business ideas, plans, and coaching responses, your questionnaire answers and conversation inputs are sent to trusted AI model providers acting as our service providers under written agreements. We instruct these providers not to use your inputs to train their public foundation models. We do not sell your personal information.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects and stores your payment card data directly under its own privacy and security policies. We store only the identifiers and metadata needed to manage your subscription (customer ID, subscription ID, plan, status, renewal date, and card brand/last four).
7. Cookies and Analytics
We use strictly necessary cookies to sign you in and keep the Service secure, and product analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Service from working.
8. How We Share Information
We share information only with service providers acting on our behalf, including our hosting and database provider, our email delivery provider (sending from notify.maverickaicoach.com), Stripe, and our AI model providers. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a corporate transaction such as a merger or acquisition. We do not sell your personal information.
9. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active, and afterward as needed to comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. On request, we will delete your account and associated data within a reasonable period, typically 30 days, except for records we are required to retain.
10. Security Practices
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest via our managed backend provider, row-level-security access controls, principle-of-least-privilege access for staff, and ongoing monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal information, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents have specific rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of the EEA and UK have rights under the GDPR. 12. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

We are based in the United States and our service providers may process your information in other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect information transferred internationally.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Updated” date above and, if the changes are material, provide additional notice by email or through the Service.
